About Ethan Clark

My name is Ethan Clark and I live in Zanesville, Ohio.

I’m an author who loves to write clean action adventure novels.

What does it mean to be confident? Is it the clothes you wear or the amount of money you spend on them? Is it about putting up a false front, to convince others that you can handle anything?

Confidence is much deeper than we think. Confidence is defined as a firm trust in something or someone. When you develop true confidence in the One who made you, it will begin to work in you from the inside out.

I can remember picture days at school. I would have to wear these nice clothes because my mother wanted a good picture to show the grandparents, but I didn’t understand it then. It’s the same way when Jesus looks down at us and sees how he made us. He is the Heavenly Father and wants us to be our best, but when we have things in our lives that take us away from Him we will show those things instead of him.

As a child, I watched Star Wars Revenge of the Sith. Afterwards, I remember telling my dad I hated him multiple times, mimicking the character in the movie. What I ingested in my eyes made its way to my heart, and, like Jesus says, “out of the heart the mouth speaks.”

Confidence can be misinterpreted sometimes by the world because we think that we should “fake it till you make it.” I believed this for a long time.

I was wrong.

Confidence is much more than faking an outward appearance, it’s about finding yourself and your value in Christ.

That’s where you find true confidence.

I’m here to help and guide you on this journey of confidence. My blog posts will help you find and express that true confidence.
